The digital height models of Switzerland can be purchased from the Swiss
Federal Office of Topography
Two kind of height models; the RIMINI in 250m grid and the DHM25
in 25m grid are available at the moment.
The RIMINI (for the complete Switzerland) costs about 750 SFr. for private customers and 330 SFr. for educational facilities. The DHM25 (for one sheet of 1/2,5000 map) costs several thousand SFr.

(How to use)
Select [File] - [Open] - [Map] - [Swisstopo RIMINI] then rimini.dat
file on the CD-ROM.
Please select a folder on your hard disc where the RIMINI should be
converted and stored. You can rename the file except for the .dcm extension.
After the completion of the conversion the map is displayed automatically.
For the opening from the next time please select the converted DCM
file. You do not need the original data to open by Kashmir.
(Option)
- For the exact geographic coordination
Selecting this option converts from the RIMINI's coordination into the
geographic coordination. Since the RIMINI has the national coordination
system of Switzerland the coordination values displayed by the Kashmir
are not correct without this conversion.
This conversion causes a slight noise on the ground. If you need an
exact reproduction of the ground from the original data please turn off
this option.
